Ryan Nilsen's practice focuses on product liability and commercial litigation, defending product manufacturers and suppliers against toxic tort, medical device, and recreational vehicle cases.

An attorney at the Bowman and Brooke law firm since 2000, Ryan has litigated cases in 31 states around the country, including high-exposure cases involving birth defects, leukemia, chemical blindness, quadriplegia, death, and other catastrophic injuries. Ryan has deposed scores of experts in a variety of fields, including toxicology, epidemiology, chemistry, psychiatry, neurology, orthopedic surgery, vehicle design, and economic damages, and has handled many Daubert challenges. He has lectured nationally on expert witness preparation, depositions, and expert exclusion techniques.

When he is not practicing law, Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, and biking and camping. He also enjoys participating on the DRI Young Lawyers Steering Committee, and planning events for the Young Lawyer's Seminar.
