Gretchen Colter concentrates her practice on defending product manufacturers.  She primarily focuses on negligence, products liability, warnings and toxic tort actions.  In this capacity, she has defended corporate clients throughout the United States. 

In addition to handling complex litigation for corporate clients, she continues to practice nursing part-time at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan on a Neuroscience Unit.  She has extensive experience in medical, surgical, neurological and orthopedic nursing.  Her medical background and hands-on experience enhances her ability to effectively defend both liability and damages claims against product manufacturers.  Her nursing skills have been honored several times.  She is the recipient of both the Cardiac Nursing Excellence Award and the Medical-Surgical Award for Excellence in Clinical Practice from the University of Colorado Health Science Center.

Gretchen has earned multiple defense verdicts.  Her trial success has been recognized numerous times by clients and national publications.  In 2006 and 2007, Gretchen was named a Michigan Super Lawyer by the vote of her peers.
